NORTH EAST RENEWABLE ENERGY RESEARCH LAB (nererl) based in Jorhat is a research Centre designed for applied solar energy research which aims to undertake and promote projects for rural as well as urban areas of the country and Assam in particular. R&D activities will focus on new ideas that would lead to eventual solution of implementation and use of renewable energy and attain sustainable development of the state.
