Drying process needs adequate heat to drive the moisture away from the turmeric or ginger which is put in to dry. To achieve a state of complete dryness the heat is needed to be trapped inside a device where the actual drying process takes place. To achieve that a water-resistant plywood structure with an inner lining of aluminium is prepared such that it can retain heat for a longer period of time. The structure is also painted in black from outside.
