The service that NERERL provides to the society is not only in the form of cutting edge ideas and innovative projects, but also through various social activities. Imparting technical knowledge and inculcating a scientific temperament in the minds of the people in the rural areas around is one such social work that NERERL associates itself with. In this context, a skill development program was organised at Hatbor Block of Kaliabar in association with the people of Hatbor block development office. The program was organised to support the Women Empowerment and Self Reliant India scheme of the Government of India.
