Dr. Chong Wen Tong

Dr. Chong Wen Tong is a full professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Universiti Malaya. He graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), specializing in Mechanical-Aeronautics. Dr. Chong has an impressive background, having spent 10 years in various industries before joining Universiti Malaya. Notably, he was the Head of Technology and Mechanical Team at Dyson Malaysia, where he led research, design, and development projects related to vacuum cleaners, hand dryers, and bladeless fans. His expertise extends to renewable energy and green technology, and he has secured over RM 7 million in research grants.
