Spreading awareness about the profound impact of involvement with renewable energy has always been a prime goal of NERERL. In this context a three-day long training session themed on “Solar Energy Awareness Program'' was conducted at the Hatbor block of Kaliabar by North East Renewable Energy Research Lab. The same was held on 27th January, 8th February and 14th February respectively. This training program was in support of the “Self Reliant India” scheme of the government of India.
The event was graced by the following notable people: Mr. Dulen Chandra Patar(Block Divisional Officer of Hatbor), Mr. Jatindranath Bora (Regional President), Block Project Manager and the representative of the 35 Women Self Help Groups. Along with them, the CEO of North East Renewable Energy Research Lab Mr. Prakash Singh, members Mr. Emon Jyoti Bora, Mr. Jyotiska Bharadwaj, Ms. Puja Gogoi, Ms. Supriya Khatoniyar, Mr. Dhiraj Doley was also present on the days of the training.
