Dr. Vedran Mornar
Dr. Vedran Mornar is a Croatian engineer, university professor, and former dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing. Born on May 29, 1959, in Zagreb, Croatia, he has made significant contributions to the field of computing and education. Mornar served as the Croatian Minister of Science, Education, and Sports from June 2014 to January 2016. He initiated a comprehensive curricular reform that contributed significantly to the implementation of the “e-Schools” project, aiming to digitize education processes in Croatia. Currently, he is the president of the Croatian Academy of Engineering and the Croatian Society for Information, Communication, and Electronic Technology (MIPRO). Mornar’s dedication to education, technology, and leadership has left a lasting impact in Croatia and beyond.
